The most recent proof of how the company has evolved technologically is the combined lengthwise and crosswise cutting line with movable shears named "flying shear".

The line is manufactured for a maximum width of the coils of 1500 mm plus a thickness range from 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm of steel R=400 N/mm2 . It consists of the following:

Raised decoilers wheel with hydraulic loading cradle;
Infeed and straightening unit with 11 rolls;
Lengthwise cutting unit with circular blades;
Crosswise cutting unit with movable mechanical guillotine shears;
Stacking unit for full sheets and strips.

The impressive aspects of this line are:

Utmost versatility:
The lengthwise and the crosswise cut may be executed either separately or simultaneously;
Both ferrous materials in general and non-ferrous materials can be cut and also delicate stainless steel, aluminium and pre-painted metal as, on the contrary to the Start-Stop type line, the material is not stopped as it is cut and the straightener does not leave any shaded marks or waving on the sheets.

High production rates:
The maximum speed of 40 m/min and the movable cutting shears ensure a high base production rate;
The combination of lengthwise and crosswise cutting means that it is possible to cut and stack sheets and strips at the same time.

Compact dimensions:
Compared to the roll-feeder type line, the line with movable shears requires no loop or trench between the straightener and the feeder, thus minimizing the space required.

Cutting tolerances:
The system that moves the cutting shears involves a modern drive with inverter technology which, combined with a suitable electronic control system, is capable of ensuring cutting tolerances of around +/- 0.2 mm.
