Bollina straightening and cut-to-length lines are designed to turn coils into high-precision sheets, ensuring reliability, productivity and surface quality. Each line is custom-built to suit the material, required performance and finished product specifications.
Mechanical design, PLC software and the operator interface are all developed in-house, allowing us to customise every line and integrate functions tailored to the customer’s specific production requirements.
The range is available in three different configurations.
- Start-Stop
The strip is stopped during cutting to allow the guillotine shear to operate. This makes the configuration ideal for standard production and applications where sheet surface appearance is not critical, or where the material will undergo further processing such as bending, stamping or roll forming. - No-Stop
In this configuration, the strip continues to advance during cutting, preventing the slight surface marks that can occur when the material stops in the straightening rolls. With the straightener separated from the cutting section, this is the ideal solution when superior sheet surface quality is required. - Flying Shear
The most technologically advanced solution. The flying shear matches the strip speed during cutting, eliminating material stops altogether. This delivers maximum productivity, high surface quality and a more compact layout than conventional No-Stop lines.
