SLITTING LINES - MANUAL POSITIONING OF CIRCULAR KNIVES
Main specifications:
The CTB type slitting lines are characterized by the use of slitting heads with cutting system by "floating" knives mounted together with the rubbers on an holder ring, with a manual positioning and quick locking on the shafts.
The CTB type slitting heads can mount up to 10 - 12 pairs of circular knives which, in addition to a good quality of cut, thanks to the manual displacement guarantee a much more quick positioning than with assembly knives in a pack with rubbers and spacers (type CTBS), with the only limitation of the minimum cutting width not less than 50, 70 mm or 100 mm (depending on models).
Depending on the composition, the CTB type slitting lines may be used for the slit and the recoiling of all types of materials.
• Standard working widths of 1000, 1250, 1500 and 1850 mm
• Thicknesses range from 0.3 to 3 mm (2 mm with Uts / Yield 650/320 MPa).
• Coils weights up to 25 tons in decoiling and 20 tons in recoiling.
• Strips braking units with felt, with polyurethane rolls and combined felt-rolls.
• Working speed up to 80 m/min and slitting tolerances of +/- 0.1 mm.
